Participate
 

We have opportunities for volunteers to participate in paid studies that may or may not involve a functional MRI scan*. Our research relies on people volunteering to participate in our studies. You will be compensated for the time you spend at the study site.

*Functional MRI is a noninvasive technique that does not cause discomfort. Unlike x-rays and CT scans, fMRI does not involve exposure to any radioactive material.

• Are you interested in learning about the brain?

• Do you wonder how people make decisions?

• Are you 18-64 years old?

If so, you may qualify to participate in our study!

What is involved?

• ​1-4 visits to the Center for BrainHealth and/or UT Southwestern Medical Center.

• After an fMRI session, you will also receive a functional MRI scan and take home a copy of your brain scans.

Will I be compensated?

• Yes, you will be compensated $10 per every half hour you participate and you may have a chance to earn bonus depending on the decisions you make!
